Marie touched many people's lives. She spent many hours helping anyone she could. She always went the extra mile for everyone.
I promised her when she first became ill with leukemia that I would make sure her young children would never forget her, that they would know who she was and what kind of person she was.
And now I am asking those of you who knew Marie well or even if she just touched your life briefly to give something back for her endless efforts in aviculture.
Please help me to fulfill my promise and to help preserve her memory for her small children. I am asking anyone who is able to write something down about a memory, phone conversation, picture, funny story or anything else you can think of for Marie's children.
It doesn't have to be elaborate or long and you didn't have to know Marie intimately. These memories will be compiled into a memory book and once together will enable her 3, 8, 13, & 14 year old daughters to have something tangible and enable them to always remember how dear their mother was to all whose path she crossed. It is the most permanent way I can think of to keep Marie alive for them forever.
Please find time and room in your heart to contribute-Debbie
This page is dedicated to my dear friend Marie Grein who passed away on December 24, 1999 from complications of leukemia. She will be greatly missed to those who knew her and her contributions to aviculture will be rememberd for years to come.
